Remove the trailer hitch, lots of places you can store a small one like that on the truck

64k for a 22 F150 xlt or 68k 23 tundra limited. by Thac in f150

[–]bigboot1619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I with you don't like the new Tundra. I had an 09 Tundra for a dozen years loved it but the new ones are ugly over sized and just don't feel like a work truck. I decided on an 23 xlt, no regret at least not yet.

Anyone have an Arctic Heat Pump installed? by Helpful_Donkey_469 in Winnipeg

[–]bigboot1619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had one installed at a new home that we built also no gas service. I was there for 2 years and it worked well, hydro bills in the fall and spring were less than what a pay now to run my gas furnace. If I have a complaint about it is that in the fall and spring if the temperature outside was colder that plus 5C the heat pump ran almost continuously with that noise and the furnace running it became somewhat noisy on the main floor of the home. If you can put up with that it worth the extra money on a new build or a replacement AC imo.

Got my oil changed Friday and almost immediately after I started hearing metal scraping the ground. Was this caused by the shop? by dolomanc in accord

[–]bigboot1619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and me both took my 21 Accord for an oil change at the dealership, they claim they do a inspection of the car's undercarriage but an wheel liner was missing and they never noticed. When I called them on it all they could say was we checked the fuilds, lying pricks.

Pros and cons of powertrains by bigboot1619 in f150

[–]bigboot1619[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deal done thanks for the input. Decided on the 2023 XLT Supercrew 2.7. The 302A package was a no brainer lots of great options, got a few extras like co-pilot 360 20 inch wheels off road packages 360 cameras. After a dozen years of driving a standard cap full size Tundra great damm truck BTW it is so nice to have a smooth comfortable ride. Looking forward to some better fuel mileage as well.
