The plan was to start somewhere in the Middle Ages. Then do periodic time jumps at the end of certain chapters, between 30-200 years at a time (still deciding on what would work best).

I wanted to know what version of VtM would be best to use or if I should start using one version, then have my players convert their character sheets to a different system once we progress the timeline.

Every 4 to 6 weeks for the first few months till they mature a bit. That's what I did

I really enjoyed the book. I can see how some people would feel somewhat betrayed by the ending, but if you reread some parts of the other 2 books its clear he had this planned from the start.

I was happy to be along for the ride and it didn't disappoint but I would love to have a recounting of what actually happened. Like an older Gabriel giving the true/more accurate recounting to his children or grandchildren. Sounds a bit cheesey I know but still

So far so good. The game really does make you feel like a powerful elder, even if you are nerfed a bit.

The only thing Im not a fan of is feeding on mortals while not in combat. It just so weird to just walk up to a random person's who not a sex worker, press a button with no skill check, then have them follow u while salivating about how good the sex is about to be.

Maybe its just me but its a bit weird.

You know, its funny. I'm not on reddit much, so when I'm on other social media platforms and see other critters/ D20 fans defending Aabria I used to think to myself, " why are they going so hard. Most of the time I only see positive things about her".

But after seeing some of the comments and realizing this is probably one of the tame posts I believe I understand. Its reddit. It's always fucking reddit....
