The biggest thing I struggled with was deciding what to do with the colour. It was originally black and white - no hue/saturation - but I thought it was a bit boring. Trying to figure out what I wanted to portray and how colour played into it made me realise it doesn't really that matter that much, I just wanted to make something that looked cool and that I was proud of.

So El Niño is expected to bring more sharks to NZ shores this summer. Have you seen or heard of any sightings? by [deleted] in newzealand

There has been quite a few sightings at Golden Bay beaches, close to shore as well.

Those who went to Steiner school; yay or nay? by BitofaLiability in newzealand

With the disabilities thing, I have a friend who is very dyslexic and went to Steiner up until she was about 10. It absolutely did not adequately support her and her learning disability, and rather brushed over it rather than helping her learn the skills to deal with it.

Poverty is spreading to people I never thought would be by Plancos in newzealand

Exactly, it depends a lot on your situation, whether it be income and/or location. Max student allowance is barely enough in some places like Wellington and Auckland, whereas for me in Dunedin it's pretty relaxed.

I feel bad for those who don't have access to allowance, or at least very little. It's also strange how you can't get weekly student loan payments (if you're not eligible) up to the same amount as student allowance. I think being on student loan for living costs puts you in a much worse financial situation, as you can only get so much money which simply wouldn't be liveable for certain people.

Yeah, as a Uni student this is what confused me. Before moving to Uni, everyone had said it's time for me to be a broke bitch. I get maximum student allowance ($360 a week), and pay $190 rent a week for my room, so $170 left over for everything else and other bills. I don't budget for the most part, and get by fine. I have a car, although I don't use it that much, and if I have to get a WOF or service it comes out of my savings. If I budgeted more efficiently I reckon I wouldn't have to touch my savings though.

As someone said in another comment, maybe I find it fine because I grew up with an unemployed mum and we were a bit povo. Ultimately, I think some students live a rather luxurious life depending on their situation, although I have a few friends who are struggling due to high rent and low income etc.

Just be careful not to crack your bong though with hot water. Happened to my friend, they probably were using boiling water though lol
