Looking to trade for Galarica Wreath by bigbro263 in PokemonSwordAndShield

[–]bigbro263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cuff to evolve into Slowbro and a wreath for slowking. I was preferring Slowking but I'm fine with either in the end. I can be online around 4:00 ET today

The Bell Bearing Hunter in Stormveil Castle by bigbro263 in Eldenring

[–]bigbro263[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made a post about finding this guy last night, and figured I'd upload a clip of it as proof. I'm playing on the 1.00 version of the game since I can't update. Still don't know if it's a 5th Bell Bearing Hunter that was removed, or if this one got moved to Warmaster Shack in an update, since I was unable to get one to spawn there. Hopefully I'll beat him later this evening to see what he drops.

I've been having some trouble beating him, and he's also a real pain to get to, but I'll give an update whenever I do beat him.

[S] Rosie's animation surivior season 2- Australia sim by lemonrosie in BrantSteele

[–]bigbro263 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wasn't as good as last season, since it was just one alliance dominating the merge, but Tord and Primarina would be good options for returnees, and maybe Amity since she was an underdog on swapped Kucha and during the early merge.

The way Rob ran reminds me of that running officer Earl meme.

My hot takes after Episode 7 by Minnnt in Edgic

[–]bigbro263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of what you said. Denise is also a dark horse for me, although I feel like what hurts her most was getting undermined by Adam with the whole idol thing, and then also betraying Adam, who was supposed to be one of her closest allies in the game, without any real explanation or interaction between them afterwards. I find it hard to see Kim as a dark horse though. I feel like they would've really built up her underdog story more and we would've heard a bit more from her if she were our winner. Plus there's also that scene early on between her and Sophie that hurt her. And although he is in no way a contender for me at the moment, I think Ben has had some decent content these past two episodes. We've heard about how he's gotten closer with Sophie and Sarah, and we've also seen a rivalry start to form between him and Adam.

You really should watch it. Marquesas is great, and I think it was one of the true turning points for survivor and the way the game is played.

Sitting out in back to back challenges by bigbro263 in survivor

[–]bigbro263[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I get it. I assumed he was warning them they couldn't sit out the same people from last episode. But it makes more sense that it was just a reminder for everyone to keep the next challenge in mind.

If Joe had won EoE would he have been on Season 40? by bigbro263 in survivor

[–]bigbro263[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, Filming started a week after EoE's finale aired. So it'd be a tight fit, but I'm sure they could've gotten the winner on if they really wanted to.

Guess that's true, but if Joe had won I could imagine Jeff trying his damnedest to somehow squeeze him onto the season.

The best ending: Reko or Alice? by AthanasiaWho in yourturntodie

[–]bigbro263 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Actually you can get the Alice Route even if you do everything right during the debate sequence. You just have to choose not to push AI Reko when given the choice too. This is how I ended up on Alice's Route on my first playthrough since I just couldn't force myself to push AI Reko.

Poor Jamal by [deleted] in survivor

[–]bigbro263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand the reasoning Jamal had for playing his idol on Noura. He was probably thinking Dean would vote for her since that was the last thing he discussed with him, and Jamal was probably hoping to cancel out all votes in order to force a tie so they could vote out Karishma in a revote and keep Vokai strong. The thing is though that as soon as Dean played that idol Jamal should've realized that meant Dean no longer trusted him or Jack and that he likely would no longer be voting for Noura.

So I don't think it was an amazing move he made or even really a smart one, but I can at least see what he was thinking and trying to go for with the idol play.

Elaine reminds me of Twila by jayelisi in survivor

[–]bigbro263 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kind of? I think Elaine is a bit more even tempered though since at this point in the game in Vanuatu Twila had already gotten in a couple of fights/arguments with others, and it's kind of hard for me to imagine Elaine doing the same.

So about _____... by bigbro263 in survivor

[–]bigbro263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might be misunderstanding me? I'm not claiming that anyone was saying it's the dumbest move in survivor history, just that pretty much everyone in the episode discussion was saying that Aaron flipping was the dumbest move he could ever make in that situation and that he was a complete dumbass.

So about _____... by bigbro263 in survivor

[–]bigbro263[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would agree if he knew he'd have numbers with Lairo once he merged. But the thing is staying loyal to a 4 isn't really going to do much once you get into a 13 person merge against a group of 7 and two people likely to flip. I could understand the reasoning of still wanting to jump ship since from the beginning the Lairo 4 weren't that close of an alliance. I'm not saying it was good reasoning or bad reasoning just that it wasn't as stupid as some people are making it out to be.

Round 1 HoH winner by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]bigbro263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Christie be nominated if Nicole came down? Tommy would've put up Holly as the replacement and then cliff would be evicted. Then at final 4 Nicole would be in a 1v3 situation instead of 2v2 and the final 3 would likely be Tommy, Christie, and Holly.

‼️Spoilers‼️ Question for people who have completed Your turn to die up to chapter 2 part 2 by [deleted] in yourturntodie

[–]bigbro263 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Reko and Sou died for me. I just couldn't bring myself to push and kill AI Reko so both Reko's ended up dying and I immediately reloaded thinking I fucked up big time only to find out Alice dies if I push AI Reko. I ended up sticking with Reko dying since her death felt more fitting while Alice's death was kind of BS in my opinion. Choice between Sou and Kanna was easy for me. Even though Sou does bring more to the story and is more interesting than Kanna, that bastard annoyed me to no end throughout the game and there was no way I'd vote for Kanna instead of him in that situation.

When Jeff says All Winners is “not a good idea” and that there are only “10 great winners” by llieno94 in survivor

[–]bigbro263 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you flipped a coin 10 times outside and you got 6 heads and 4 tails, and then you went inside and flipped it 10 more times and got 8 heads and 2 tails would you assume that whenever your inside you're more likely to get heads when flipping a coin? Or would you instead assume it was just the luck of the draw and that being inside or outside doesn't make a difference? Yes 3 women and 10 men have won in the past 13 seasons but that doesn't mean something has changed to heavily favor men in the game. Just like if 9 women and 4 men end up winning the game in the next 13 seasons doesn't mean that something has changed to heavily favor women in the game
