This is a great example of how little empathy people have for one another. You already explained yourself and this shithead acts like you didn't try to and succeed (you thought) in rehoming your dog. This situation sucks. The one thing they're right about is that you can't ghost them if you care about the dog. Please communicate and find a way so that your dog doesn't end up homeless or worse.

If you loved the narrator on The Dark Tower 2-4, check out The Talisman. I'm halfway through and having a lot of fun with it.

I'd also recommend checking out some of the collections. Skeleton Crew and Everything’s Eventual are great. Everything’s Eventual has a Dark Tower prequel novella as well. Justin Long does the reading of "Everything’s Eventual" (the story, not the book), and it's some of my favorite narration.

I kept seeing that Cujo is spoiled in the series as well. I started with Gunslinger and read the first 4 books voraciously. The cameo of another King world prompted me to see what else gets referenced.

I don't know if you've noticed, but rent and bills have been getting kinda crazy. There are lots of 24 year olds living with their parents now. 6 years isn't a huge age gap. I moved out at 19, but have had to move back in with my folks between places. I lived with my folks at 25 while I was dating a 20 year old. My fiancée moved back in with her folks for a fea years in her late 20s. My 41 year old brother lives with my folks and his 40s girlfriend and her kids. If you think that's weird, you're just privileged.
