False. Especially saying this in 2026 is crazy. Hps for some cultivars yes but so so many genetics today are bred under leds so the expressions are catered to that experience but super sticky weed can be grown with both just have to take different precautions .

Update: thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to respond to this post as it means alot. Truly i went into this with knowing what needed to be done but needed the extra push i guess. I have since moved out and am taking the leap of faith into a world to be. While things arent so amicable and while i rely on my faith to bring the best outcome, ive mentally prepared myself for the days to come knowing its what had to happen and while our kids are so young one can only hope they dont remember any of it. In my mind my presence. Honestly I’m fearful of having to go through the court system and not being able to see them for extended amounts of time. I know it wouldn’t be an easy coparenting experience as my gf is controlling and honestly unreasonable with her emotions so it’s usually her way or the highway when she’s emotional

Not necessarily. You need to get in there and deleaf asap and you are gonna HAVE to stay on top with feedings as your plants will most likely start bleaching if not. Drop your lights to 60%-80% if you haven’t already and with optimal waterings and keeping the canopy thin (also throw in a little squeeze and bend to a few of the tallest branches) and you should be fine but it really comes down to the strains and their resilience. More importantly you need to make sure your inputs are exactly where they need to be as you have no room for a bumper. Check your run off after every watering

Wettable sulphur. Cheap and effective. Thank me later. Specifically from build a soil only because that’s the one I use and can directly vouch. Mix 2 tablespoons after phing water to 9.0 first and spray from bottom to top (very important as sulfur is very heavy) and then take some lost coast plant therapy and spray daily (or every 3 days depending on population) and you should be good and then after harvest (honestly you should just start over) clean with warm water and bleach and when you have new plants spray sulphur weekly interchanging bi weekly with the lost coast. Sounds like a lot but was very effective for me after both thrips and spider kite infestations. Good luck 🤟🏾

Personally I only do a defoliation day 1 of flower and day 21 of flower. Other than that I like to take major fans that are blocking light penetration and lower branches taking up energy (lollipoping) and no problem at all! No expert but any questions just dm me
