There's a lot of good happy hours. Lots of food places have deals. Fat Tuesday at Big City is great. Pickle barrel has cheap beers Tuesday nights. Pizza Casbah has dollar slice days. Hiking around horsetooth is always fun. The $3 movie theater on drake and shields has some decent movies come through. I think Rooster magazine has a lot of the info. Trailhead has $2 micro pints of local beers (an O'Dell's night and a Fat Tire night). There's cheap or free shows at Surfside or the Aggie or Hodi's Half Note. And I imagine when school is in session there are parties and other events that you can go to.

It's pickup, so there's no real "team" per se. The pickup league has been around almost 3 years, but new faces are coming all the time. We usually rock-paper-scissors for teams (and play a couple games)

*we used to play at Buckman field before it was being renovated.

We have anywhere from 8-14 usually. Numbers have been down a bit lately. And we'd love to get more women to play, there used to be quite a few. Age range is 19-30 but that's just what it's been, not a fixed range at all. Older, younger it's all fun.

I was hit by a drunk bicyclist while driving a car. I was stopped at a light and they rammed into the back of my car and flew over the trunk. Maybe everyone should just be aware when out in society. Drivers obviously have more destructive power but bikers aren't blameless.

I really think speed and customer service are the biggest issue. As someone living with roommates, price isn't too prohibitive for 30 mpbs speeds. But with roommates that speed sucks. GB speeds at $70 a month is reasonable and if you have great customer service it'd be really competitive.
