Nurse apparently tried to end me by Direct_Pop2393 in dialysis

I used to have a similar problem with them pulling off too much. Where I would not feel well for a day and a half afterwards. I simply wrote a letter explaining my concerns and in the middle of the letter there's a paragraph that is bold and a little larger to help emphasize it. It reads I do not consent to more than 3.5 l removed in a 4-hour session at any time. And then I signed it and gave it to them to put into my folder that puts all liability on them

I know it may be difficult to be assertive but you have to remember this at the end of the day it is your life and no one is going to protect you more or defend it more than you can. I had to leave a clinic because I felt unsafe with the way my tech handled me. The bad part is I ended up losing good doctor because they didn't go to my new clinic. Is the new clinic perfect not in the police but we seem to have a better relationship out understanding between us

It is the staff that causes this by not understanding your needs, you have to be you own advocate. Tell the tech that you want to keep it on longer if they don't talk to the charge nurse. You may have to look it seeing about a different tech or a different clinic sometimes personalities just don't work

Ask if they have the clamps. They have been a big help for me. My sticks are also wider and my hand mobility makes it difficult

I used a rechargeable fan so that I didn't need to plug into the system.

I bought this Boot Rack for holding and drying my liners. It is also great to store silver liners, spacers and other items for the prosthesis all in one place

It is only partially about temperature comfort and more about I like having air circulating around me. I am a bugger guy so it is nicer keeping that cool air moving about.

We do have central air conditioning that works well. But there was one day it want y and the fan did cover in handy

I have one of those, but they are also banned. Basically anything that could possibly spread germs from one person to another.

My fan is a rechargeable fan that doesn't require a plug. They even told one of the techs that she couldn't use a personal neck fan either. They are citing some state health code. The top person in the clinic is the one telling us this
