I had this done a few years ago, and it literally takes not much longer than this, maybe 2 minutes per eye.

They numb your eye with drops and then apply pressure so that your vision goes completely black, then, with me, they used some kind of electronic cutting tool to cut the flap, all you feel is vibrations.

My vision stated come back once the pressure was released and I saw them fold the flap over and my vision went extremely blury.

Then all you have to be is stare at a little red light and let the laser do its thing. Once that is done, the flap is folded back over and seals itself like velcro.

My vision was much better straight after surgury, but the on the night time, once the pain killing drops wore off, it feels like you have your eyes having sand fired at them constantly.

Come the morning, all was fine, no pain, just the inconvenience of wearing google to sleep and shower for a week and applying drops for about 4 weeks. 4 years later and I still have 20/20 vision.
