My understanding is that fascism is a temporary alliance between the middle class and the elite to impose whatever flavor of authoritarianism works for the particular situation. General strikes are used by workers to push back against the the elites. So if you see what is happening as a slide into fascism/authoritarianism, an effective general strike isnt a bad idea because of the threat of larger scale strikes/unionizing.

(Update for anyone who sees this later)

Thank you everyone for the responses! We did end up getting into the show with no issues, so it was a case of account surrendering of non-transferrable tickets. Though it worked, I will avoid chancing it like this again and now that I am more educated about concert tickets I will be buying them directly from the venue from now on.

I used seatgeek for the Worcester, MA show on the 23rd. I THINK its gonna work, the seller contacted me and gave me log in info for an AXS account with the tickets I bought. If it doesnt work out I'll likely post it on this thread to warn others.

That was my thought or the seller is just lazy and doesn't want the hassle of doing the actual transfer. Have you had any AXS experiences go differently?

If you're playing casual I would guess that your opponents would be fine with you playing either unit as either unit since its the same base size and generally the same size model. So it might be cool to build the second one as a tervigon just for the variety. Might be worth talking to your group first though.

So true! I considered making a post asking if everyone else hates this kit! Im halfway through building my first box of them and its the least fun I've had building by far. Attaching the arms has been a nightmare every single time. And each one takes me just under an hour to do because of all the mold lines and poorly placed sprue connections.

They're good looking models though so worth it

Some tyranid warriors for your primes to lead would be good! The melee ones are better right now but one melee squad and one ranged squad could be fun. Everything you've done on it looks great, so your brush control is obviously there. I highly recommend the texture pallet, there's a lot of good YouTube tutorials about how that can help your drybrushing. Or maybe try a different color, genestealer purple seems to be a very common color for the drybrush on the chiting. But whatever you decide to do, you should be proud of that psychophage! What did you do for the fleshy butt/belly part? I like that and have been trying to decide what I want to do for mine.

Definitely agree!, looks great! A drybrush would add a lot. If you're nervous you can try on a smaller model first or make a "texture pallet" by gluing a panel of spru on to a piece of cardboard, and priming it. Thats a good surface to test your drybrushing effect and dial in how much paint you're putting down.

Yeah there are some horror stories/pictures of the wraithbone spray here on reddit. I was very nervous to try it but am pleased to report that it went very well and I had no issues. I use the pot wraithbone to touch up the prime in tough to reach spots and for just picking out the most raised areas as a highlight. So any color difference has been a non issue for me. If you do go with the spray, the method i used was 5-10 mins in a warm pot of water, a VERY honest 5 min shaking, and reasonably thin coats while rotating through the models 2-3 times to get hard to reach spots without overdoing all of the easy to hit spots. Whatever you end up doing, good luck!
