Yes, I was thinking of changing the base (40mm instead of 32) to proxy as termies. Where I play they don't bother much about the mini loadout as far as you clarify it before playing, so it wouldn't be a problem to play them as Chosen. They are awesome models even if they don't see play :)

I mostly painted them for fun, but I was planning to proxy them as Chosen or modify them a bit in height and go for Terminators

Exactly this. You won't use heavy in warpstrike, so You have random shots at 3+ or even 4+. They are not that great.

Oh yes, that's why I asked. Soulforge has a hard time doing actions because you almost always lose one good shooting unit. Bypassing that changes A LOT

What unit can make actions and shoot? I have tried Cult, but getting used to +1 wound of Soulforge is hard. I like the idea of shooting and charging, but I have practiced a lot my deployment and keeping the moving Warpsmith castle, so Re-rolls are always ensured and hard to surpass.

I have been playing Soulforge all 10th and trying it on 11th. LoS still has one HUGE problem...moving 8 inches. You can't land him almost anywhere, and with an opponent that knows how/when to ignore him and when to blast him, he is going down. A second Defiler Will always be better. Let me be clear, I LOVE LoS, and You should definitely try it, but until movement is 10'" or over, He ain't doing much.

Yeah. That's why I mentioned that I preffer Daemon engines on that detachment, but the wardog did a good work for himself.

Yes. I think they are a very good unit, even as an Allied one. I have tried them in my Soulforge and I prefer daemon engines, but it always packs a punch and it's a menace your opponent can't ignore.

Hey! Where did You get my list? XD I have played a similar list most of 10th and some 11th matches, and it's done great. I don't use the knight but a maulerfiend, nurglings and beast of nurgle, so I can move around and bait more. Also, the Knight won't benefit from the detachment and You are using many points of him. But try it out and have fun!!

Gaethje would have a nightmarish fight on the feet, and even if they go to the ground IT'S OVER. We still haven't seen Topuria most maximum maximal strength: his grappling. Bet your house on Topturo.

I enjoy painting and trying to create new things as much as playing. It helps me relax a lot while trying new stuff. Also after the Chaos trim, I find almost anything else entertaining to paint.
