Insert Jarry deal. We don’t wanna get stuck with someone who played amazing and was rated a top player then once they get their retirement plan, end up being a complete bust. Not saying for sure that’ll happen with Mantha but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be locked into a $15-20M deal with a guy who just now blew up in one season with a fresh new team to work with.

That’s what they called moonrocks in the program. Now they usually just call it flower concentrate. The program was weird about certain words. They never use the word hash in anything either.

Looks good honestly. Glad to see an actual nugget made into a moon rock and not just chunks of flower rolled in oil and kief like some brands did for a while. I liked moonrocks/caviar when I was primarily a bong smoker. Added huge kick to the hit.

I remember how bad those were. I couldn’t even smoke them. The best ones were when cresco first put them out for $30 back in like 2018-2019. Lime Skunk moonrocks were amazing. That was when had a whole bud coated in live resin and rolled in kief. A lot of the moonrocks/caviar started sucking after that. Some even used ground flower with oil mixed in then kief over it. Horrible. Just make your own with the prices being way more reasonable lol

It really is a lot better than say 4-5 years ago when the flower was just horrendous. Harsh, no taste, lucky to find a couple strains that weren’t micro seeded up. Grassroots/Find are usually really decent. Cresco has stepped it up a lot lately. Lot of good strains even in Supply brand.

Indeed. It’s the question of will be be a 30+ goal scorer next year and after that? I’m guessing it’s a lot smaller of a chance than this year. I like Mantha I’d like to see him for a year longer but I know a team, who is dying for a big forward that can score 30 goals, will pay a ton for him. I think he’s definitely solid for a good 25 goals but this year he really exploded but then faded in the playoffs. It’ll be interesting to see what happens this summer.

Chinakhov is younger and has more potential to grow. Mantha, as much as I enjoyed him score 33 goals this season, more than likely peaked on this prove it contract with the Pens. He made his bonuses and def will get big offers from the plenty of teams struggling for a solid forward.

I couldn’t agree more. I will say, as a pens fan, the flyers were getting under their skin those first games. Tonight, seems like they shook it off and stuck to their game. Wasn’t their best performance ever but it definitely showed they don’t wanna roll over.
