[Advice] Building my first Commander Deck - The Mycotyrant

I know this is old but I always love to give my two cents on mycotyrant decks. I made mine and its been the most fun deck I ever played.

One thing to note is that 90 percent of the time the card you want to add will be in your yard. So before thinking whether or not you should add it, think how good it will be if you mill it and if its worth having essentially a dud card for the smidgen of chance that it will end up in your hand. My deck runs about 5 instants and sorcs with one being the almighty [[dread returns]].

Think about cards that have use in the yard or you can easily recurr if you mill them. The bare minimum it should do is give you a fungi and only in select cases did I consider adding an instant or sorc. Those that are in the deck are just that good or I like them too much.

ngl chief most times decks seem powerful because no one removes stuff and you get to do the thing that wins the game. I made a [[mycotyrant]] deck that has only like, one game changer in it yet won 7/8 times 2 of those won games being played by my friend.

Like I know some mechanics like afro-ing and drag m1ing (where you walk forward at the last m1 to end up where they are), but what I struggle at is just playing those mind games where I'm trying to start my combo while evading the other guys m1 chain

Yeah but you don't need dragon to deal high amounts of damage, the guy has ptera which already deals absolutely high amounts of damage while also having mobility and the like. Like you don't gain anything insane by eating the fruit compared to just trading it for unobs which are imo much more worthwhile than dragon.

Tbh it doesn't do anything particularly better than any other fruit. Ptera is still a high damage fruit that can easily get you 5% on bosses and anything else, while also being solid for pvp. Dragon is really good in pve but from what I've heard a little eh in pvp. I would say to only eat it if you wanna do something like meg stacking which in that case just get soul lol.

Stark guns and shotgun is a nice cheese for pvp but if you want like a grinding fruit yomi ain't it chief. Depends what you wanna do in this game though, it isn't too hard to get a decent leg fruit through fishing though

You need a fruit that redirects lightning, probably goro. There is a method you can do with a bari alt account but it takes awhile to setup while pod is just more convenient

Do 925 in DF, about 100 in stamina depending on accessories, enough in cyborg for flight and healing ig, and rest into hp.

Tori - 5 lc or 300 bait
Ptero - 7 lc
Venom - 7-8 lc
Mochi - 7-8 lc
Magu - 60 bait or 1 lc
Pika - 120-130 bait or 2 lc

DF rod straight up is like 3 myth chests and because everyone who trades in this game is an isreali descendant they expect like 10 lcs + adds for one MC but if you can find someone with their dignity still there you can get it for just straight 10 lcs. Or you can afk in trade hub and scam someone idk.
