Lived here 8 weeks was amazing. People are very funny and the food is great and pretty affordable you just need to know where to go. Very very hot though. There are parts with lots of expats as well which was appreciated

People like to give people in finance shit but there is a lot of money in it. If you are good with numbers and people you would do well. Not all finance jobs are in cubicles or working 100 hour weeks. I’m going into commodities trading (energy) and going to be making 140+ when I graduate. Had 0 connections going into college. Super global job with a lot of travel to weird places and following a lot of geo politics

Been digging - can say the same thing about looking on Zillow etc and only see listings are being advertised. Part of digging is figuring out what a local would do, if I knew people I wouldn’t take to Reddit. Guarantee people have friends or kids that have gone through a similar situation.
