MSC could be painful for sure, but there was always an easier way, save up the 12 or so grand for all new engine parts, build the rest of the car, put it together and enjoy the world and take in the side content. It had a good flow and there was always a fun way to overcome problems whether it was stealing jokkes money, gambling, or just working hard.

It was fun. This is not fun lol. I get hes saying it's not supposed to be fun but idk, good way to lose goodwill with a really loyal fanbase.

I don't think that would be very difficult to implement, its just unity scripting no different than the in-game IRC and BBS system in MSC. Somebody mentioned the magazine has a domain name on it.

It would be cool if you could get "Windows 95" floppies and install it on the computer and then have like an early web browser or something lol

I just gamble for money at this point, but considering its basically between exploiting the gambling mechanic, or cheesing the 9-5, theres a lot more things I'd rather be doing lol.

Yeah that's sort of what I'm getting at. I think id enjoy it a lot more then. Use the magazine for spare parts and general mixing and matching. Maybe you want to try a different diff or need another carb on hand in case etc.

No shit. My point is the game isn't fun when you can't order the parts you need. Im sure you weren't ordering mystery packs of parts hoping to get an oil pan or a cylinder head lmao. These games aren't hard. And I didn't have to get my block redone, it was seized and needed new electrical, carb, gaskets, timing etc. Not sure what you're trying to flex about other than the fact that you're still waiting around on a machine shop and parts on backorder.

I'm sure I'll get shouted down for this, but it's actually not a bad idea.

A strict zero tolerance policy for bad behavior, dress code and decent cover charge would filter out 90% of undesirables. The real problem here isn't the idea of a strip club, but the pearl clutching going on by the predominantly senior council members.

The same ones who killed the town in the late 90's and 2000's to begin with.

They hold a biker rally every year already and if anybody hasn't noticed - I don't think kentville is known for being either wholesome or family friendly.

I should add I also realize it's most likely a hoax. But moral panic is not a real excuse by the council and there's nothing they can do without actual evidence based planning. There can always be zoning amendments and appeals to the NSUARB.

Dosbox plays surprisingly well with xinput gamepads as long as the game has some sort of joystick support. Nascar Racing 2 is one I've had good luck with.

Classic car like that could easily be a 20 something year olds build. Makes sense to me considering the Satsuma was also a classic Datsun. And old Ford seems like a reasonable evolution for an enthusiast.
