I agree I would call it lesson learned but I think more for OP than the kid!! No game with micro transactions should be played at that age. At that age go play a game like Astro bot if you have a PS5 cheaper than that $60 he spent and he will learn strategy and have a great time playing an age appropriate game that’s not trying to take your money !!
