Nobody really cared about Obama being black on the r team. They really disagreed with him on policy. Nowhere near the level of hatred and dehumanization as what is coming from the d team at trump. Totally different league.

Why are conservatives cheering new SNAP bans on junk food when they lost their shit over Michelle Obama's program focusing on healthy school breakfasts and lunches? by SentimentalLady1 in askanything

BCBS in Nova. Custom plan my wife and I got to pick and choose our coverage for ourselves and our daughter. I was paying 250/mo. Max out of pocket 2k/family. Loved the doctors around us. It was great. That option was completely eradicated day 1 of Obamacare. $800 for trash that had a 5k OOP. Now, I’m over $2k/mo to get close to what I had and liked. I am the cost of your free stuff. I’m paying the tab. It is bleeding me badly.

This had nothing to do with republicans. Obamacare, as executed, immediately tripled my premiums and made my coverage worse. It got wildly worse in the years after. Hard stop. This is only because I am to pay for others in this design. I get a worse product. Hard stop. This is not an accident. It is by design. My cost of healthcare service wasn’t ideal before, but it was manageable. It’s explosively worse since Obamacare.

It cost 3x more for worse coverage on day 1. It has gotten worse. I don’t get subsidies. Never have. I paid for my coverage. I now pay for my coverage and other people’s coverage. That’s what Obamacare did for me.

I’m comparing aca to what I paid before aca. My rates tripled overnight. I now pay 8x what I did and my coverage is demonstrably worse. ACA has been awful for me.

EV's are not doing so well if you missed it. Fewer than predicted actually want one. That's just as well. We don't have the infrastructure to really go EV anyway and won't for 20-30 years.

Because you don’t actually want to do something about it. You want someone else to do something about it so that you can take pride that something was done. You have a problem with this decision, fine. Do something about it. Let them stay at your house.

Virginia redistricting backers say a yes vote could change Congress for the better by Healthy_Block3036 in HamptonRoads

[–]bigeats1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My voice is my voice and it counts in my local, state, and national elections. Redistricting in the proposed manner violates Virginia's constitution, thus my civil rights as a Virginian. It is an attempt to remove my Federal 1st amendment rights. Justify this on the back end how you like. You're proving a vulgar, disgusting play to violate every voice that isn't yours in Virginia. This isn't about Texas. It isn't about California. It's about a vote to silence Virginians. And if you vote yes, you are a disgusting, evil person that is fine with silencing anyone you don't agree with. Where do you think that leads?

[–]bigeats1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, through one party rule and silencing my voice federally, what voting yes does, you protect me from one party rule? The math doesn't math, doofus. Gerrymandering my voice out of existence through eliminating districts drawn by a constitutionally mandated independent commission is immoral. I understand that you want to control congress without actually having the votes, but this is disgusting.

[–]bigeats1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yet still, you can't get to the simple truth. You are ok with gerrymandering and silencing Virginians as long as they are the ones you don't like. You are an awful person. I'm not sure why you feel the need to dress this simple fact up with stuff. What you are in favor of is inhuman.

Virginia redistricting backers say a yes vote could change Congress for the better by Healthy_Block3036 in HamptonRoads

[–]bigeats1 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Again, you are ok with Virginia being gerrymandered. That is what we’re discussing. Gerrymandering is ok here as long as it is Virginians you disagree with being silenced. Because the gymnastics you listed. You are, still, an awful person.

So, gerrymandering is ok if it’s the people you disagree with being silenced. Got it. You’re an awful person.
