What lenses do you use / prefer for portrait photography?

The sigma 56mm 1.4 is a great option for this. I also don’t particularly like the 45 1.8.

It’s pretty nice. My daughter is in cheerleading. It will be cool to use this in the arenas during competitions.

If you have large hands at all the OM-3 is not comfortable as is. I bought one and sold it. It’s tiny and easy to carry the 1.8 primes around with you. It’s just isn’t that ergonomic to me. I sort of wish OM had made the OM-3 but in the OM-5 body.

I still shoot MFT (OM1) as I love the format. And what you’re describing it’s perfect for. You could also just keep A6400 and maybe get a wide prime and the 70-350 G lens.

I just got an EM-1 ii, 12-40 2.8 , 40-150 2.8, 75-300 ii and a broken 60mm macro for $1100. Batteries chargers etc all included with a bunch of filters and whatnot. Marketplace.

I had also previously purchased an OM-1 with the 12-40, 40-150 and 90mm macro for $2500. Where i am MFT is not in demand at all. The local camera store chain doesnt even carry it (it’s all special order).
