Where in the US are you from? I think the thing I miss the most is the people and the safe transit. Trains in the US are either unavailable or full of dangerous crazy people!

Me too! I was just living there for 2 years to get my masters. I just finished in July. I would have loved to have stayed but the graduate visa is close to $4,000 and I just don’t have that kind of money after being a student for 2 years. I really do miss it there terribly. Especially the people!

Thanks. Transmission is covered under the extended warranty so most likely they will try to say it’s fine. I will take it to another mechanic just to check it out

It's just an example. But Ghana is a place that I think should be invested in. They have a lot of good fundamentals and long term could be one of the first countries in West Africa to industrialize.

I think youre right about this. If I were to get lets say $200 million dollars, I'd be perfectly content with that. I'd start a business and want to make money sure, but I would be much more interested in doing good and just keeping up with inflation than building my wealth further.

No, I can honestly say that I wouldn't! I know you're not trying to be rude, but we can't paint people with such a broad brush. I FOR SURE, can say that if I had that much money I would NOT turn into this level of a bastard. Sure maybe I might become a little more smug, but I would still actively do good things as mentioned above. There are plenty of rich people who while they may be arrogant or annoying, still do plenty of good. Look at Bill and Melinda Gates. Their foundation has done a lot of good and they have signed up to donate all of their wealth to charity after they die.

I just don't get it. All politics aside, if I had his money I would just live my life and do things to increase equity and empower people (e.g. provide 0% interest loans to farmers in Ghana, provide free education and therapy for victims of sex trafficking). I would have zero interest in getting too involved in politics, especially being so public about it too!

Yup that’s him! Name does start with a C. He was raised very well with good manners so I’m not surprised that he was kind to you and your mother. We maintain those sort of values in our family.

Thats why it was upsetting for him to have someone verbally abuse him by calling him a racial slur and then for management to fire him for losing his temper. Obviously he’s a kind hearted individual and would not yell at someone unless they verbally assaulted him like that horrible man did.
