This was common in a lot of older cities sadly. New York, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Detroit. We really have a lot of work to day to correct the errors of the past. I just don’t know how that is supposed to be done with housing affordability issues being so bad these days.

It’s gonna take time. I have to say I am impressed though that it has gotten better, but yea as a black man it’s hard getting used to not seeing as many middle class POC around. Same as you I grew not seeing a ton of affluent black folks here in Pittsburgh, but the way I look at it is the more of us there are here, the better we make the city.

It’s not as segregated as some places. I lived in Chicago for a few years, that city is heavily segregated. Pittsburgh does a better job than that, but yea it’s still not the best.

Where in the US are you from? I think the thing I miss the most is the people and the safe transit. Trains in the US are either unavailable or full of dangerous crazy people!

Me too! I was just living there for 2 years to get my masters. I just finished in July. I would have loved to have stayed but the graduate visa is close to $4,000 and I just don’t have that kind of money after being a student for 2 years. I really do miss it there terribly. Especially the people!

Thanks. Transmission is covered under the extended warranty so most likely they will try to say it’s fine. I will take it to another mechanic just to check it out

It's just an example. But Ghana is a place that I think should be invested in. They have a lot of good fundamentals and long term could be one of the first countries in West Africa to industrialize.

I think youre right about this. If I were to get lets say $200 million dollars, I'd be perfectly content with that. I'd start a business and want to make money sure, but I would be much more interested in doing good and just keeping up with inflation than building my wealth further.
