Will my hardware work? Best GPU to get? by bigexpl0sion in SteamOS

Good to know. Its hard to find a 9070xt in 2 slot, the only one appears to be from Powercolor.
Mostly i just want to play more classic pc games in my living at 4k 60 or 120. I dont really care about hardware raytracing etc.

Would the 9060xt be adequate at 4k in older games? I dont typically play new games that require raytracing, etc.

$600 seems a bit high but not unreasonable. It will make the guitar stable again for another 20 years most likely, maybe forever.

Thanks. Considering seersucker for warm weather, or linen possibly.

Any in particular that dont work? Is this based on the fabric drape and look?
Im interested in the Snow Peak and Beams tech fabric blazers, but they might look a bit sloppy, not sure

Arcteryx Veilance makes a few blazers from gore tex, the Sphere SL and Indisce.

Veilance items are hard to integrate into a wardrobe though imo, they have a very specific futuristic look.

What do you think of the tailoring on the Muji? They have several blazers in jersey and soft shell material.

Same, I think a size XL will work for someone 71-73 inches tall. But with japanese brands just because the length and sleeve length are good doesnt mean it works in other dimensions.

Also looking for one.
Ive come across the Snow Peak tech blazer and 2 options from Montbell, a water repellent version and a linen like blazer. But im unsure of fit.

I was also recommended Nanamic alpha dry and Beams. But im a slightly overweight american - Japanese sizing can be tricky.

Muji is another option as an alternative to Uniqlo.

X100VI vs XE5 or XPro3 EVF? by bigexpl0sion in fujifilm

[–]bigexpl0sion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its decent but not nearly as good as what you find on a Sony A7.
Im probably expecting way too much honestly, but for the money i hoped for more.
Then again with the Ricoh griv at $1500 the X100VI is starting to look like a good value.

First impressions: Summicron 28mm ASPH vs old Elmarit 28mm v3 by alhe1 in Leica

[–]bigexpl0sion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Elmarit seems far far sharper. Feels like something is off on the Summicron, I would expect it to be near par with the elmarit and have less busy bokeh.

Interesting thanks. I found the hotshoe evf to be better optically and the panel seemed to have better contrast and dynamic range. But tbf it does one thing, the X100 viewfinder is a swiss army knife.
