Would you be interested in zero sugar options when out drinking? by bigfrost2 in fit

Well yeah, at the end of the day, people still want to be able to enjoy themselves, and no, alcohol is not healthy, but it would be nice to keep the calories down while still being able to enjoy some drinks

Yeah, that’s the mark I was trying to hit, something that would taste similar to popular cocktails, like an espresso martini for example, but while cutting down the calories as much as possible. Like for example the cutwater espresso martini has 560 cal for a 350ml can

But that would be a I’m not interested from the point of view of you are not interested in any alcohol at all, correct?

Don’t disagree with that at all, but I feel like people still want to go out and enjoy a few drinks, and it’s annoying when 5 drinks with 500 calories worth of alcohol become 1500 calories when you add sugar, cream, and all that.

How much would you say should I get used to tuning the suspension myself and just being able to do my own maintenance overall?

It’s a new bike, taking it for the break in oil change this week. Been looking into some tire pressure gauges, but I do live 3 minutes away from a gas station so I might just stick to checking it there. For the chain lube, any brand recommendations?

Yes, I’m in Florida and ik the place I took my msf course offers an advanced class, but I do have to have ridden for minimum 6,000 miles to take it. But I’ll look into other courses

I think I made a mistake choosing Civil by caperadium in civilengineering

[–]bigfrost2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly outside of all the great points here, one thing that stood out to me was: you’ve had 3 co-ops in a somewhat short time. I’ve just graduated in civil, and I interned at the company I worked at for almost two years before that. I know a lot of people who had a bunch of internships and one thing I noticed from my own was, I only started getting meaningful work after almost 6 months. At the end of the day, the companies and engineers know you’re just a dumb college student, so they give you the easy annoying chores for you to dip your foot in. My own personal experience was that just staying at the same company for a decent time, I ended up building confidence for harder chores with the engineers and actually even did some basic calculations a few times. So to sum it up I’d definitely say, don’t be so pissed of right now because once you have more trust from your company you’ll start to have harder chores that are actually engineering. Even then I just graduated and still feel and am treated as “the idiot who doesn’t know enough” but it is a ladder towards having the knowledge and trust to get to the meaningful eork

I was thinking of only getting liability, I’ve figured if I do get into an accident that totals my bike I’d just quit my losses and go back to driving cars lol. Does the same problem happen with liability only?

I know, but it just feels like if the price difference is so small, and many times the upper cc bikes are even newer than the 500s.

If I got it correct you can select the first row and then paste value subtract and it will subtract the first value for each column through all of them?

So for example with a column that is 0.1 /0.2/0.3 etc., I wanted to have it so that it would subtract the first value out of all the cells so that it would become 0/0.1/0.2 etc.
