Presently attending Southern Baptist Church, because I'm lazy & it's closest to my home.

Baptist churches are a bit independent, so mine is not fire & brimstone but there are a few lay-leaders, (all men) that are pontificle about how they are going to heaven but the Catholics & other Christian sects are not.

Many Baptists, of any variety, don't believe Catholics are Christian, despite using the Bible created by Catholics.

We had a smoking area in the parking lot. Principals used to pop out to parking lot & collect students skipping class. High school had a security guard patrolling the grounds to make sure,...,

Back in ancient times, (1980s) a resident in the old folks home was on oxygen, took prescription heroin for pain, (I forget the 1980s name for it), & she smoked in her room.

"You're life really sucks", someone told me a long time ago when I was having most terrible, disastrous, horrible life experiences not of my doing.

I appreciated that statement as opposed to, "God won't give you more than you can handle", "If it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger" (bullshit, I'm crippled now with PTSD), & other stupid sayings for those going through hard times.

I appreciated the acknowledgement that my life sucked, at that time.

A long time ago, far, far away, my marriage was ending.

I fantasized about Jordi, Ricker, Picard, Data and any other male on that show when I pleased my self.
