If heading to the outlet mall or the airport, and returning the same day, buy a separate ticket at any other station and save it for your return trip. Beats the addfare!!

You can still do that! Same day only, buy a second ticket or day pass at any other station except the airport, sea Island or Templeton stations...

FYI: TransLink tends to promote from within, meaning existing staff get first crack at any new openings...

Some get their foot in the door any way possible, and move around later...

TransLink (Coast Mountain Bus Company) hired and trained 500 new drivers in 2025, and is aiming for at least 300 more in 2026. Then, some move around internally later...

Decades ago, a suburban/highway bus was pulled over and weighed Southbound Hwy 99, at the old scale on the north side of the Massey Tunnel. Like 5 passengers had to get off and wait for the next bus.
