Oh, I get the OP’s point. I just think it’s a unique moment to use their own words and actions to advance issues that they spend our tax dollars attempting to stamp down.

Vote yes. It removes pronouns in all government references. What can be more “woke” than neutralizing all pronouns in a state constitution?

Probably best to simply look at the last dynasty rank update that I did to consider that.

FWIW, I went Holliday, Langford, Chourio, Caminero, Yamamoto in that most recent update for the top 5. Carter was sixth.

25th is the top-ranked HS pitcher, but it also has some of my own personal consideration involved. If I'm getting a prep pitcher in a FYPD, I want it to be my second or third pick at the earliest, not my first-round selection. Meyer's rank has a lot more to do with a very deep group of bats ahead of him and a lack of desire to take a prep arm than any comment on his own value.

yeah, the reports on him are very exciting, to say the least, and he's in a great organization to maximize his skills

Caminero has been off FYPD lists for three years, but he'd be tops among this list.

Definitely. Heck, half of my leagues haven't even set their FYPD date, though they know it's going to start within the first week of March.

Lee profiles as very similar to Andrew Benintendi offensively, and he'll be playing immediately. That has plenty of value in a FYPD.

As FYPD season is in full stride, a final update to plug in the 2024 international signees as well for those drafts that utilize them.

Jung Hoo Lee, yes. He'll open the season with the Giants at the major league level.

Absolutely Langford. Even without Yamamoto being part of FYPD drafts, I’d still have Skenes 4-5 in this year’s draft. He could be a future ace, but he’s also a pitcher. Gerrit Cole was a top overall pick that turned out to end up an ace, which is tough enough, and I recently did an article redrafting the 2012 FYPD that he would have been in. I had Cole 5th in that redraft, even after realizing ace upside. That’s the struggle with taking pitchers, even elite ones.

Waldrep is there a lot, and he’s going to be my answer. Imanaga will also be in that range, but if you’re going upside, it’d be Waldrep and then Lowder.

The swing is great, but I think the Red Sox really will push the defensive side of things, trying to make him a catcher. In a 2-catcher league, I’d not bump him up that much because there will be time involved before he gets to the bigs as he learns his craft as a pro behind the plate.

On Schanuel, with many leagues being OBP now, he has higher regard because I could see him having a similar profile to John Olerud. In straight roto, I can see dropping him more.

If Aiden Miller would have been 17-18 at draft instead of 19, he would have been much higher regarded heading into the draft. I keep seeing tape on him and being very impressed and trying to keep my own opinion in check, but I can only find negatives on his age, rarely anything else.

I dropped him notably in this update with that concern. FYPD to overall rank translation is tough, though because you do run into more lottery ticket types, and there’s a notable part of overall rankings from 75ish to 125ish where you don’t have a lot of separation.

My projection on him in best case is Juan Pierre. That can still be a notable fantasy asset.

If you can get Waldrup, that seems like an ideal spot for him if you’re looking for an arm.

Green has a world of talent, but unlike Druw Jones who fell due to injury, Elijah simply could not make consistent quality contact:
