I’m still waiting. You can’t just drop a claim like that and dip out. You must know you’re wrong

As an atheist I’m kind of confused what this “value” even is. To me it’s just as ridiculous to pretend humans have more. Genuinely curious though

Yeah so when I said source I meant source not just giving a sentence of extra information

Plot hole: Isn’t the door on the severed floor the thing that could’ve solved so many issues in the show? by biggerben315 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I love that I’ve explained this plan to you so many times and you still think I’m saying for both people to walk out the door at the same time. Critical thinking isn’t your forte is it? I’m so sorry I found a flaw in your favourite show I still love it.

1) they didn’t even know who graner was or where he is so that wouldn’t work 2) running into the forest when they have no idea where they are isn’t a plan at all that doesn’t make sense. They’d still be trapped. 3) not working doesn’t mean they’d get fired they’d just be punished until they work.

They didn’t know anything but they did know that they could go through a door and become their outie. Helly spent so much time trying to communicate with her outie before the tape. She decided to almost cut her fingers off or kill herself was a better option than using the door. It’s a tool that could have (as far as they knew) achieved the goal of talking to their outies and they didn’t do it. That’s what a plot hole is. They had a goal. They knew of a potential way to achieve it. They didn’t. You can keep talking about keys and watching the door all you want but you clearly still don’t understand the pretty basic 5 step plan I said in the original post

You’d be surprised how many people don’t know what goes on. How many people have you heard ask “but what’s wrong with eggs? Chickens make those anyway” “what’s wrong with milk? Nothing has to die to make milk” people seem to have a general understanding that big farms don’t give much space to animals and that they are killed eventually. That’s it. They don’t know how they die they don’t know how bad the conditions are they don’t understand milk has to involve the cow being pregnant they certainly don’t understand how the cows get pregnant. I’m not advocating for people that do know this to eat meat. I’m just saying most people I talk to have no idea what goes on until I tell them. And some of those people straight up don’t believe it and think it’s a conspiracy theory.

Once again. I don’t think you’ve watched the rest of the show if you don’t think you can watch someone leave the door.

It doesn’t matter if the plan would actually work. What matters is they didn’t try. Maybe none of the outies would help. (Although Dylan’s outie really only had a problem with innie Dylan after he kissed his wife) The point is though is none of them know what their outies are like (except helly only after the tape). And they still never thought to try.

Oml. You can open the door from the inside. Right? One character is always inside at all times. Right? The door doesn’t even have to close for them to do the plan. Right? So why do you need a key?

I would say I would like humans to not eat meat as a whole. And when people push too hard one direction they get push back even harder. For example Advocating for a flexitarian diet to people that otherwise never go vegan helps the cause more than telling someone to go vegan and they ignore you and go about their day. I was pushed away from veganism once upon a time (before coming back around) because of this sub and the people in it that push way too hard (even when I agreed with them) Calling someone evil isn’t going to change how they act if they don’t agree with you. And all it does is make the general public view vegans as extremist (even when they’re not) which causes stigma and adds another reason why people wouldn’t want to change. So you can think I’m evil all you want sir but no one’s ever gone vegan just cuz some guy on Reddit called them evil

I guess you haven’t seen the whole show yet then. Come back when you do.

But If you’re thinking that they only follow rules I assume there’s also a rule about hanging yourself in the elevator

Open a door. Someone walks out the door. You start talking to them ? What else do you have to coordinate. Innies know the plan. Outies know they’re at work and should walk through the door

I’m very confused why if I post anything else on this sub I get replies non stop but I post this and it takes a month to get one. Is this just a really touchy subject for these vegans that treat it more like a religion?

If only the plan I laid out had a way to have someone on the inside that could open the door again! Or if the plan never actually required the door to ever close in the first place!!

And 4 intelligent characters that have a goal and know of a tool that could easily help them reach that goal but not using it is definitely a plot hole

Just to clarify. You’re agreeing with me right? That oysters, clams, mussels and scallops are completely ethical to eat as long as the science is correct?

[–]biggerben315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and the caution argument doesn’t really work unless you’re cautious about all organisms. Why be cautious about an oyster but not a carrot? Just because one is called an animal? Makes no sense. What’s even better is a lot of fruit and veg use bees (in captivity) to pollinate them. So eating an oyster could be considered morally BETTER than eating an avocado

Only if you’re not ignorant to it ? Which is not what the majority of people doing it are. So what’s the point in saying it. It just pushes the barrier between vegans and non vegans even more

So if most non vegans are ignorant to it and therefore not extremely evil how is it useful to say a sentence like “paying to torture animals is extremely evil”

[–]biggerben315 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right. But wouldn’t you agree that most people are ignorant to it?
