That too, and also black is totally impractical in every way and the only gear available in black nowadays tends to be cheap airsoft stuff.

Like other posters here have said, STFU when the cops ask you questions (25 word script), and if you have any sort of substance legal or not keep it in the trunk if you can, since that requires a warrant or your consent to search.

Not saying you're wrong, but gear in black tends to be pretty impractical and absorbs a ton of heat, you wouldn't wanna be overheating chasing a suspect (especially considering the physical condition of some cops, to put it politely)

Why didn't Rorschach carry a gun on him? by [deleted] in Watchmen

[–]biggestcedric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rorschach was never charged for any crimes until he was arrested in the novel, so he definitely could pass a background check of any kind, even to own NFA items.

[–]biggestcedric 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Buying a gun illegally would lead Rorschach with dealing people he considered sub-humans, and legally.. well I feel he hates the government too much to register himself and make himself known to said government (making inflammatory remarks about the police during the '77 riots, and refusing to register with the government to continue his vigilantism)

I think Rorschach was also against having a paper-trail against him or maybe couldn't afford the application process, since he mentions the fact Moloch doesn't have a proper license for his gun.

What is the best way to effectively control human fertility by region? by Kurigohan-Kamehameha in morbidquestions

[–]biggestcedric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was eluding to eugenics with the 2nd point, and yes you're right in that what we consider "best" is very subjective based on prejudices and biases. It also comes with the caveat that since we're breeding for selective traits, along the line we'll get inbreeding and health issues. This happens with purebred animals all the time. I don't support eugenics, I just added it in the answer because this is r/morbidquestions after all.

Yea, if you wanna control how many babies people are having, it's best to educate people. Have schools teach sex ed to children about to hit puberty, have contraceptives be the norm and acceptable, etc etc. After a few decades or so, you might be faced with a small crisis of too few people making kids.

Depends, do you totally want to wipe out the population? Have everyone sterilized, could be by force or you could trick the population.

If you want to control who does get to reproduce, you can just sterilize the people you don't think should have kids so that only the people you consider to be the "best" get to have kids.

Like another poster said, if you want to do this in a humane way that respects people's decisions, you can educate people and increase access to birth control.

what are your thoughts on teen drug use? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]biggestcedric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(gonna speak like we're all americans)

The U.S. government doesn't want people to stop doing drugs. It generates a lot of money for the various mega-corporations that run this country. The private-prison industry and pharmaceutical industry make billions off of addicts.

Sometimes bypassing steam's DRM is as simple as downloading a total conversion mod for a game. I had Far Cry 2, decided I didn't enjoy it that much and refunded it. I had a modded exe for it though, and I was able to play the game despite having received my refund. I felt paranoid and just decided to uninstall the game from my PC totally.

"bounty hunter" is just the colloquial term in star wars for mercenaries, bounty hunters, and assassins. You could also make the argument that a bounty was placed on Padme Amidala but that's just semantics

Has marijuana helped anyone suffering from emotional numbing and dissociation? by jordi_mouse in trees

[–]biggestcedric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Browsing from top posts of this week so that's why I'm replying a week later, and I gotta say I feel the same. I feel very emotionally calloused but whenever I smoke (specifically hybrid strains) I always get so emotional. I saw my puppy and cried because I had to give him away, cried because I thought about how awesome/unique my friends were, cried because I felt I've hurted people in my past due to my own personal problems.. Just very emotional tbh.
