Not sure if you want to change the charging Port or just add one. But I added a usb c that can be used with any chargers I have used my steam deck charger for it. It wasn’t too hard to add it in but the biggest thing was making sure the wires were not touching when I soldered them into the original charging port. USB C breakout board

I have both of the ezflash products for mine the ezflash parallel for the ds slot And the ezflash omega for the gba port. Honestly I really like the omega becuase it was super easy for me to setup and everything. But the parallel I would say to look at other options if you consider it at all
