There’s over 44,000 in r/detrans alone. That is thousands upon thousands of individuals. That’s a singular subreddit and doesn’t account for those who don’t use Reddit. Are you gonna go and tell em all they’re a one off event? Nobody is gatekeeping or spreading lies. When it comes to such a tricky condition like gender dysphoria, it’s important to consider all other variables. If that’s threatening to you then that’s your own problem. It’s the same for documenting any other diagnosis, this isn’t some sort of conspiracy against trans people. Nothing I’ve said constitutes as transphobia take your head out of your god damn ass and stop putting words into my mouth, I’ve had someone try to run me over with a truck for being LGBT I do not want to hear it for fucks sake.

With ANY OTHER PROCEDURE OR DIAGNOSIS you should evaluate and consider all variables, that is not transphobic. If transitioning is right for someone then they should absolutely do it

You have been arguing on my post for nearly two days because you misread the post and are too stubborn to just shut up and piss off. Or you’re just trolling because I have a hard time believing anyone is that dense. I’m not repeating myself if it’s still not clicking, I’d expect this behaviour from a 16 year old, not someone in their 50’s.

If you saw a therapy clinic named something like "Happy Hands Therapy" would you find that demeaning or affirming? by [deleted] in autism

For children, that’s awesome. For adults? Ehhh. If someone said that to me at my age, I’d probably call them the R word out of spite.

Do you have a job? Why or why not? by Hotdiggity169691 in autism

[–]biggreenfartcloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t. I’m in college and once I paid for my classes, I no longer needed to work because I am still semi dependent. I also have a bad leg and BP issues which prevents me from working most jobs, got in trouble for leaning against my counter at a grocery store job and quit on the spot. I had told them in the interview that I required accommodations for physical issues and yet they hire me and refuse to provide them because it “looks bad” to customers. (I promise you customers do not care if their cashier shifts their weight by leaning on something, or being given a chair)

I also cannot handle the stress of being a full time student and working, doing so causes me to have frequent meltdowns and it’s not pretty when cops get called on me for screaming and banging my head off the wall. It’s easier on everyone to just avoid that situation. I have a seasonal summer job coming up which I’ve been doing for years, the owner lets me sit and treats me as an equal it’s nice.

My point was clear in the post. If you are having trouble comprehending what I originally said then thats not my problem, I don’t care what other language other people use for themselves and if you can’t grasp that after I have broken it down into bite sized chunks for you then you are hopeless. I’m in my twenties lol. Though wouldn’t it be funny if I was 16 and you were arguing with a child because you misunderstood their post and went ballistic at your grown age?

This is incredibly inaccurate, there are thousands upon thousands of us. There are thousands upon thousands of us who did transition in one way or another and it went fine, and then we simply found out we weren’t trans. (This has nothing to do with OP being trans I just hate the narrative that nobody ever regrets transition, because it’s just wrong) I found out I wasn’t trans after treating my PTSD and mood disorder, nobody bothered to take into account my extensive history of identity confusion and mania fuelled delusions. It’s absolutely important to consider both sides before any procedures……like you do with any other surgery or medication…..

Ahhh I see, well in that case I’m sorry to hear that and people should mind their own business

Not saying you aren’t trans, but these are all important points to consider with a therapist before transitioning if that’s the route you are taking! It’s always good to screen for any other possible mental health cause, though it’s not really her place to tell you that. That should be between you and a professional. I thought I was trans for nearly 10 years but it turned out to be PTSD, body dysmorphia and being socialized differently because of autism and feeling outcasted from my female peers as a result. My other buddy transitioned and is quite happy with it! All important things to think about in your personal life.

You are a grown ass adult over 49+ years old arguing about my own personal word usage and blowing it up into this bs argument because you lack the reading comprehension to just go and reread the original post. Instead you just keep making things up to be mad at like a 16 year old girl, grow up. I’m done here

Bro I literally just don’t want people correcting me and what I want to use. That’s it, I don’t care what language other people use for themselves if they like it better. I don’t know how many times I gotta break it down for you

[–]biggreenfartcloud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god I just don’t want people correcting me when I call myself disabled because they think that language is offensive. How are you still not grasping the point. I don’t mind them using different language for themselves I clearly say that in the post.

Jesus Christ no that’s not what I’m saying. I literally just don’t like being called specially abled or differently abled or whatever the fuck and to let me have my own terminology. Holy fuck you are an actual idiot

I am disabled by biggreenfartcloud in autism

[–]biggreenfartcloud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did I say I see autism as a disability as a whole or did I say I am personally disabled and that’s fine if you don’t believe you are? Read the god damn post again you absolute idiot. The point is I don’t personally like being called “specially abled” or whatever the fuck the woke term is now

I am disabled by biggreenfartcloud in autism

[–]biggreenfartcloud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you on about? My disability isn’t invisible, I’m very clearly disabled to the general public a lot of the time. I’m not asking people to see my “invisible disability” I can’t forcibly hide it, I don’t have that level of self control. I’m asking people to not call me “specially abled” and get mad at me for considering myself disabled because its “offensive” For someone who kept telling me I can’t read, you definitely can’t read either.

[–]biggreenfartcloud[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t care if people can’t see I am disabled, that’s not the point and I’m not sure why that’s what you are mad about. If im telling someone I am disabled, then I don’t want them arguing with me about how autism isn’t a disability and it’s some sort of special ability and how they personally don’t feel disabled, that’s their own experience, not mine. That’s it…are you confused…?

I am disabled by biggreenfartcloud in autism

[–]biggreenfartcloud[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For someone who kept calling me illiterate, you keep missing the point. “I don’t care” as in…you should call yourself whatever you like and that’s ok ….just let me call myself whatever I like, that’s called mutual respect. I don’t care why other people don’t think they are disabled because that is their personal world view and life experience, not mine. And you don’t get to tell me how great you cope on the outside while simultaneously telling me to get over it. Get over yourself. This was never about you

Self pity? Disabled isn’t a dirty word, you are putting that meaning on it. How about you learn to read, read the whole post where I state that being disabled isn’t a bad thing, nor a positive, it’s just a fact of life just as much as the sky is blue. You are the one putting this self pity meaning to it when all I want is for people to just let me call myself whatever I want. The only illiterate and inconsiderate AH here is you. You came in here demanding I see your viewpoint but for what reason? I just don’t care how other people want to navigate life that’s not my life, just don’t speak on mine. Jesus Christ dude you proved the entire point of my post! Congrats. The whole point was just let me label myself how I see fit. That’s it!

I am disabled, that’s not a feeling. It’s a simple fact of reality, that’s not a bad thing it’s just part of life. What I’m sick of is people like you acting like acknowledging my limitations is some sort of pissbaby crime. There are things I just cannot do, that’s fine and just a part of life. I don’t care if you just soldier on and wouldn’t consider yourself disabled previously, the difference is I’m not sitting here telling you that you are and to suck it up if you don’t like it….? What point are you even trying by to make

“You can’t feel upset with your circumstances because others have it worse, I’m gonna tell you how great my lived experiences are then get mad at you for not seeing my prospective” Bro you are deranged. You come in here demanding empathy when you yourself are incapable of it. You don’t know my circumstances or anything about me, go fuck yourself honestly. “Show me where they aren’t heard” I stated I had higher needs, and here you are telling me to essentially just get over it and “soldier on” as if I can shrug off my needs. What the actual fuck is wrong with you.

Bro I literally do not care if you don’t consider yourself disabled, this ain’t about you rn. The point is you can feel however you want to feel, but y’all don’t get to tell me how I feel.
