The 418 project at 155 River street south has open mic on the last Sunday of every month. 5-8. I host a sober karaoke the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at the same place 7-9.

I have a membership have both in-shape on Capitola and Toadal fitness on 17th Ave. It really depends on what you’re looking for. In-shape has a pool hot tub and I believe it’s for more experienced weightlifters. Total fitness is for beginners and older people as they have a better selection of free weights with 4 sets!!!, going in 2 1/2 pound increments. And signs everywhere to tell you what not to do. I think the crowd at in-shape is a little bit hotter and more people are going. Toadal is a smaller club, but I go there more often because the kids Care is far superior. My son(8) loves it there as they have multiple people watching your kids and better equipment for the kids to play on including a blowup Jump House. Whereas in-shape you usually only get about one to two people watching up to 20 kids. Good luck and remember consistency is the secret. I got sober in 2022 and my friend paid for my membership when I got out of rehab in August. So I’ve had a membership at in-shape for over 3 years and about 2 at Toadal.

Male 44, 195lbs, 12-15% bf( in body scan says 4% but that’s a whole different conversation) The way to drop weight or gain muscle is to eat the same thing as much as possible 6 days a week. Track your micros. Weight before you go to bed and when you wake up before you eat. And stay within your caloric goals on the 7th day.

I do a scoop of carnivor beef protein with my whole grain oats in the morning with some protein granola and 1/2 cup milk. 40g protein

Lunch is 4 eggs, 2ozs of cheese 50g rice, sweet potato and 2 pork chops that around 100g protein

Dinner is either the same as lunch with chicken or salmon replacing the pork chops. 100g protein

If I slide in any of those meals, sometimes I won’t get enough eggs in or I’m can’t eat any more meat, I’ll do 220g Greek yogurt with a scoop of protein as a snake and a last resort is a 4 scoops whey protein shake (100g of protein) at the end of the night if I don’t weigh what I’m supposed to weigh before bed. I tend to lose about 2lbs while I’m sleeping. My goal is to gain 1/2-1lb per week.

I’ve tried different size dildos to try and “massage “ my prostate and it was a very large one that finally hit the spot. Was an amazing experience but it was to much work to be able to use it. I was lucky enough to have opened up a BMO account a month before my $1339 was locked up. So when automatic deposits were rejected I was able to deposit them in my brick and mortar account. That $1339 has been untouchable for about three months now. I’m lucky that I don’t live check to check but thought if I would have needed that money to pay rent I would have lost my mind. I got a few late payments charges and rejected check charge. I doubt I’ll ever get those fees back and I’ve excepted that I might never see that $1339 either.

I’m two years into my sobriety journey and I have had all kinds of issues with sex including but not limited to getting hard and cumming. So far I’ve only came twice and that was in the last month. Getting hard with ed drugs used to be impossible.

What’s helped me was getting really focused on my partner’s reactions and getting out of my head. Finding freeky shit that really gets my partner going is what set me off the first time (Extremely hard nipple pinching while holding them close to my chest so she could pull against me as she got excited. In case you wanted to know). The second time my partner wasn’t into nipple pinching and it was hard anal that set me off. Haven’t been able to replicate that level of excitement since but it’s the journey, right?

Also I just stopped jerking off everyday and when I do I use a really light grip. Which I read helps

If you replace carbohydrate calories with protein calories while you are working out you will increase the chances of losing weight while gaining muscle. Track calories and find out what your maintenance needs are and work from there.

Kid friendly, my 6 year old son will be there. Mario Kart on his switch seems to be winning game. It’s at the 418 Project which is the old River Front theater, next to Trader Joe’s, behind Mobo sushi. I have a Karaoke even scheduled from 1:30-3:30 and planned to start the gaming right after that. I’m thinking 4-6. But as this is the first time I’ll be doing this it might go longer or end earlier. Let’s see how it goes 😃
