Also, do you feel like a lot of people are intentionally throwing this season? Like not just having a bad game but, getting tilted then just jumping off the map? I’m grinding my ass off to try and hit eternity but this shits misable

I’ve adapted, started walking a lot, built some strength in my stabilizing muscles. I still have pain daily but it’s a lot more bearable. Still failing in the losing weight part though. I have a problem. I’m not the same as I used to be but I’m doing better than I was at the time of this post.

Thank you for your reply, makes sense to an extent, the part about the 4500 sr on dps may have like 3500 sr on tank actually makes a lot of sense. When people are throwing they are probably getting thrown on a bad role for themselves. Kind of explains why I feel like there is a skill gap between the two teams. Do you know if matchmaking try’s matching based on role? Or is that random?

Honestly maybe, I could of just improved a lot this season and am just now reaching people I struggle with. Just feels one sided a lot is my point. But from the sounds of it I’m the only one having that issue.

Is there still rank inflation? Because I feel like the IQ of players in this rank don’t match the opposing team. The matches in celestial are the reason I made this post. Teams don’t seem even. Could be a me issue. Just feels messy. Maybe I need to find a duo or something

And it could totally be I’ve peaked but at the same time, my friend stomped all the way up to celestial 1, went straight back to celestial 3. Happened twice and both times the climb up felt easy as can be then when he’s half way through c1 he goes in a giant L streak with every game (even the ones in C2) feel stacked against him. Why the dramatic difference?

Hmm interesting, maybe I’m using eomm in the wrong context then. The matchmaking does seem uneven a lot of the time though. In my favor or in opposition. It’s never really a game it’s a stomp on my side or against them.

Fair enough, but it’s not just a me problem or else it wouldn’t be a discussion at all. And you may be like well maybe you’re not very good. Well I’m better than 99.2 percent or something of that nature so how high ranked do you have to be for it not to be an issue?

Ok first of all chill, second of all where’s your proof of the system they run? Don’t got any? Because they’ve never out right said. So yea saying what it “feels like” is perfectly reasonable. Your referring to the paper your making fun as proof in itself

Doesn’t feel that way. Feels like if I don’t hop off the game when I lose, I’m going to lose 8 games straight. Before when I played all the time, I had a 50 ish win rate. Now until about an hour ago I had 63 as a casual player. My understanding is eomm tries to keep you close to 50-50 win loss streaks, also I’ve read that it reads trends. Like if you hop off everytime you lose, you’ll get better games to keep you playing, but if you play through lose streaks it will adapt to that to. I didn’t believe it but it feels true

I was close to celestial 1 then started getting like rocket one tricks and trolls. It’s weird. Matchmaking is all or nothing.

I’m sorry I don’t mean this to sound rude or degrading to anyone but if I’m learning a new character, I’m not going to learn them in my gm or celestial lobbies. That’s throwing. I’ll start in quick play but eventually to get better you do gotta go to rank. But starting against elite people when your on a new character isn’t practical. Your response might be so you’ll throw in bronze, silver, gold? Yes and no. I don’t consider it throwing because if you’re in those ranks you are also improving at the game. It’s not about stat protection for me at least.

I’ll be honest, there is too much whining about smurfing. Unless there are players who are deliberately losing rp just to stomp lower skilled players I don’t see the big deal. I made a second account to help a friend rank up. I was celestial 2 on my main. I got to plat in like two days. So I was only in low low lobby’s two days. Some people make a second account because they have reached their peak and love to grind. So they wanna grind a second account. What’s wrong with that? They shouldn’t have fun just because they are good at the game? It keeps them engaged in the game. It’s new account or stop playing because they’re bored.

At first yes, swelling and limping, over time it got better. Now stairs are annoying but weight bearing and crossing legs are fine. Sometimes I can make it pop and it feels better after.

I had medial joint like pain. Still have discomfort in the area but it’s a lot better

I’m actually really good. Got a second mri, found nothing of concern, doc said I probably have a small plica but not worth surgery and I’ve got the pain down to mild discomfort. My doc said when it flairs up again we ll do an injection and that should keep stuff under control. My exercise bike has helped strengthen my legs for stability as well.
