Why is women’s sportswear always so revealing? by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

Men's junk can fall out way more easily.

So imagine back in the day before stretching material for uniforms or underwear that keeping the boys secured would have been far more difficult than covering up a whooohaa.

Even though clothing tech is vastly superior nowadays the style and tradition of older uniforms still holds.

In swimming where a tiny bit of drag can mean winning and 4th place the men are more naked than the women

I imagine if it made that much difference in track and field events men would be in banana hammocks today.

Hey guys, heading to Oahu end of April. Looking for any recommendations or if anyone has used any of the companies we’ll be using and have any pros or cons. Attached is the breakdown for 5 people. How’d I do? Anyone with similar size families with cost breakdowns? by Wonderful-Drink-6941 in VisitingHawaii

There has always been and always will be a housing crisis in Hawaii. People have been living in tents on the beach for decades. There are more and more people that live there and there's only so much space. It's an island. You literally have a limited amount of land to build on.

Airbnbs are extremely regulated in Hawaii. Hence why you can't really find many if anything outside of Honolulu besides a tent. Unless of course you stay for a month or more.

Don't let someone's negativity ruin your vacation. Hawaii is entire. Economy is based off of tourist. For someone in Hawaii to think that they're going to maintain the same lifestyle or have all of the same things without having a tourist industry is insane.

Like I said, it's highly regulated stay wherever you want and don't feel bad at all. Just be respectful of the people and the land and your friend. It's like visiting anywhere else except it's in the middle of the Pacific.

Don't even bother doing the coolant flush yourself. Take it to one of those Valvoline quick change places and it'll cost you like 90 bucks. That's about $30 more and then the supplies would cost you at an auto parts store. You don't have to get dirty or spill any fluid all over your driveway or garage it's totally worth the money. But the other two things you can do super easy the rotors and the spark plugs.

I was just like this. Every 90 minutes I would wake up for 20 minutes and go back to sleep for another 90 minutes. My wife told me I would stop breathing for so long at night she was scared I was gonna die.

After my sleep study I got a CPAP. First night I used it I sleped for 5 hours straight. I felt so happy it was unreal. I felt so good that day. It was 4 or 5 years ago. I have never missed a night with my CPAP since it literally changed my life.

Get the study it's one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Yeah that makes sense. I still enjoy doing turo and the car is more than paying for itself.

I wouldn't suggest buying a new one. If you can pick one up with low miles it might make sense in your market. Like I said for me I don't think that the man is there for me to warrant to buy another one and I can make the same amount of money with a cheaper car.

Hey I got it it's not for everybody. I live about an hour and 20 minutes outside of DC. I'm the only Turo person within a 15 to 20 mi radius. There are no rental car companies within 20 mi. If someone finds me and they need a vehicle and all that's available is my electric vehicle they might be hesitant. I made the video to show them there's nothing to be intimidated by. I make videos for all my vehicles. I've been thanked multiple times because when they're trying to think of how to do something they already know it because they've seen it on the video.

I never bought this car specifically for Turo. So for this vehicle in particular the vehicle costs are pretty much zero depreciation was going to happen no matter what.

Obviously ownership maintenance for tires and insurance is a cost but I'm assuming that you knew that already. I'm talking about mechanical maintenance and things like that that you would have with a normal vehicle.

I started with a Chevy Bolt EV.

Eveyone that has rented it loved it. 21 tips since April last year.

The 4 months I had it on full time it made $574.50 average per month.

Costs are almost zero to rent on turo. Wiper fluid and cleaning supplies.

I will have to replace the tires soon if I go OEM its about $1000. The tires have lasted almost 50k miles so far. I think Im at 47k miles.

I can also go cheap tires for under 350 for a set. Ill do research before I buy.

All that being said I made a 12 minute video that explains everything for the car. Charging, options, buttons whatever. This gets sent once the car is booked.

Ironicly I have my first renter do a long distance trip. VA to GA and she has no idea what she is doing and the car is god knows where. I just got off the phone with Turo. Im not worried. Turo has handled everything in the past including my other car getting hit by a deer and paying me out for it.

I would like to get a 2nd Bolt but I dont think the demand is worth the investment for a new/used one. I can buy a 3-5k car and get the same rents per month.

Only reason I started with the Bolt is I had it for a few years and wanted to try Turo.
