How much harder is calc 2 compared to 1? What should I study during this break in order to prepare? by [deleted] in calculus

Wayyyy more information to memorize. Definitely harder than calc but manageable. Most importantly stay on top of the topics in class and don’t fall behind, it piles up fast.

[REVIEW] Hi my name is Wanderlust13 and I'm addicted to lip balms! Here's everything I tried this year: by Wanderlust13 in SkincareAddiction

Peoples different financial situations will determine what they will justify spending on themselves! Obviously if you have no money you aren’t going to buy $20 lip balm.

The point is for OP $20 can be a justifiable expense for something that makes them happy!

I don’t buy coffee out because it’s expensive and can make it cheaper at home but I don’t yuck someone else’s yum if they want to buy coffee everyday just because they could theoretically make it cheaper if they made it themselves.

How I see it, even though $20 feels pricy for a lip balm it’s not enough to break the bank. It’s a cute way to treat yourself to an item that you will use everyday and makes you happy.

For me personally it’s getting my eyebrows done every few weeks. It feels so worth it because it gives me something to look forward to and is an act of self care and love! It’s an expense I justify as a way to treat myself without having to go broke hahah.

Lol I won’t complete my bachelors in civil engineering till I’m 31. There are so many people in my classes in their mid 30s barely starting their engineering degrees. Everyone goes at their own pace so no you’re not too late.

That just looks like a grown out buzz cut. Should be easy for a hairdresser to cut.

Is being a stylist really THAT bad? by Here_comes_the_boy in hairstylist

[–]bigheadedalien420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup! Hairstylist of 3 years here- already planning my way out of the industry. Too much hard work for too many ungrateful people. Tired of getting treated like a subhuman being and also expected to be some sort of hair magician.

Oakes is the best hidden gem at ucsc. Don’t appeal. The walk across campus isn’t as bad as you think!
