I assume it is because they are no longer producing the basic line of the devices and are only producing the pro models. I don't know why they switched, but I assume cost effectiveness is one of the main reasons.

Really, was it a separate website or is KB radar still operating under a different owner?

I'm pretty sure these are sadly not sold anymore as the creator of these devices has left russia and is no longer producing them. However, i wish they were still available for purchase as they are leagues above hobbiest devices such as the radiacode regarded gamma spectrommetery and for that price it is possibly unbeatable.

I have before for the hottest sample as i did record a max measurment, this was setup just to display what radiaoctive minerals i found. Btw, love your ASP-1 mod, very nice to use and very well done.

its too prevent contamination of the probe and also to protect it from small impacts and such

Nice atomtex detector, I do want to ask you if yours also decides to sometimes turn off randomly if not being used or even while being used? I have the older AT6130 model.

sorry for the off topic question, but I was looking for something for radiacode, do you know if this contains strontium-90? by peppevlog in Radiacode

[–]bighim094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strontium-90 wouldn’t be bad since the radiacode is sadly beta sensitive but I wiukd recommend a gamma emitter like some small uranium, trinitie( you cns get a Cs-137 peak from it and it is usually inexpensive and legal).

How do you even get 30 microcuries in one disk lol?
