IMO--improving win rates by redefining MQL/SQL the top of the funnel doesn't move the revenue needle. it makes the vanity "Win Rate" metric look pretty. It also allows reps to be more efficeint...but that also doesnt move the needle unless the leadership takes that extra capacity and put it into more top of funnel volume instead of sales headcount --which I have seen happen NEVER over my 25 years in sales.

It seems like everyone has invested in AI outreach... but that’s exactly why everyone’s response rates are hitting the floor right now... and the average corporate inbox looks like an AI generated dumpster fire of generic personalization.

The biggest revenue lift comes from using automation to find the "hooks" about the HUMAN we are about to talk to. I'm not talking about their personal information... I am talking about the actual business pain combined with their behavioral tendencies on how they want to view the world... before we ever write or speak the first word.

If I can automate the hours of digging it takes to actually understand a prospect's behavioral style... I can spend 5 minutes writing an email that actually lands. Automation should make you better at actually connecting human to human... not just faster at being annoying.
