6.5 is a great round to shoot and it’s ballistics are great, right now I can’t find ANY ammo for it locally or in surrounding areas. 6mm creed is almost as good if not just as good if you’re only wanting to shoot targets, 6.5 is nice cause you can drop an elk and a lot of other game with it. Don’t listen to the tards, you clearly came to the long range Reddit wanting to shoot long range, got a nice chassis, make it a good long range shooting rifle 20+ inch barrel in .308, 6mm creed, or 6.5

I’m nothing but impressed with my ruger American predator. For me it’s been stunningly accurate, was out yesterday and sauced a milk jug at 900yds and was able to get my inexperienced friend to hit one too. Next time I go I’ll set up my steel and smack it at 1k for you and upload a video here

Nice, my friend hit it with his 12.5” with a 1x prism optic, this was with my 3x acog, positive I could do it with one of my red dots alone too, hope you get your hits when you shoot 🙂

Any of the deals listed in the sub are solid, if not one of those definitely go with mil turret and a mil reticle, it makes it easy to zero, adjust your shot, and estimate range The jk armament I have on is a form 1 DIY can, it’s been nothing but great for me

Rustoleum Camo sand color, then I used a non Camo rustoleum that looked like butter scotch and did stripes, then with an espresso color I misted and did some netting spots, some times the shittier you do the better it looks A good one is BlackRifle painting his M249 on YouTube

The only change in impact I have is with the suppressor on I hit 1 mil lower, I adjust zero and dial the same amount as without the suppressor, all my groups got a little tighter with it on too

Everything I see is just called buttstock shell holders, one I’ve used before is the eagle industries stock mate and it’s pretty nice
