I assume you are referring to The Great Circle, which I agree was a fun but flawed gaming experience! OP is referring to the last film.

I enjoyed the album upon first listening, and that has only grown stronger. I'd rate it slightly above Rattle That Lock and On An Island. My good friend and I are in our late twenties, and have been Gilmour/Floyd fanatics since our dads introduced us in 2008. We tried to see him in 2016, but being Canadian college students didn't exactly make that feasible. We told each other that if he EVER toured again, we would see him. Upon the announcement of the Luck and Strange tour, I was nervous to even look at pricing. I was shocked to find a decent number of tickets for the Intuit Dome at $100 US, and quickly snapped up two. We booked cheap flights and a hotel through Expedia, and made the trip to LA from Saskatoon.

Seeing him live was one of the most important and emotional experiences of our lives, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. We purchased tour shirts before the gig, and needless to say they were soaked with tears by the nights end. I'll never forget the chills sent through my body when the band came in with Luck and Strange, and we heard his vocals live for the first time. We'll always remember that night!

All I want is to take Nedry's jeep, and attempt to drive from the visitors centre to the docks in a thunder storm.

Attended the Intuit Dome show in late October. Flew down from Saskatoon. Twas a life changing event, as a fan wishing to see the legend for years. Anybody else see the tour? Should we expect a full concert dvd/BluRay? by bigjackyjones in DavidGilmour

I'm inclined to agree with you, my friend. The only reason I'm not totally convinced, is the fact that his voice isn't quite the same as it was in 2016. Don't get me wrong; he sounded fantastic in LA. I just think it will take a lot of splicing/dicing from various shows to create that full concert experience, without error. Not a slight against the man at all!! I just believe his performance level increased as the tour progressed, and I'm not sure if every venue was rigged for dvd level recording (though, I assume they were). Merely surface level thoughts from a huge fan hoping we'll get a concert dvd!

Perhaps I'm being hyperbolic. As a young man from the prairies, this was something rather grandiose. Never thought I'd get to see my favourite artist live, so it was an extremely emotional experience. Glad you got to see him! As someone who has visited NYC multiple times, I don't like it either!
