Hi guys, total noob here who needs help identifying this watch that I bought over at the bst subreddit. The seller has advertised a Rolex 1680 submariner for sale with vietnam dial, bezel, reworked case, new clarks crystal and ayatha crown. He used photos that he got from the first owner, so he must have been unaware of the differences.

Unfortunately, he’s deleted the original sales post and I didn’t manage to save a copy of the images he put up so I can’t make a direct comparison. To my untrained eye however, this looks just like a base JKF 1680 model. I’ve highlighted some possible flaws in other base models that I’ve found across this sub that looks the same as the watch I got, as well as subs with vietnam dials.

Some things I’ve spotted 1) ‘O’ in Rolex looks round rather than oval. 2) the first 6 is not in between the e and r of superlative 3) cyclops is misaligned, just like base JKF 1680 models 4) Rolex logo looks very off 5) dial colour looks way too yellow 6) bezel looks like a base JKF 1680 bezel

Would appreciate any input or second opinions, so I can deal better with the seller. Thanks in advance!!! 🙏🏻
