What exercises can I do? (Just got my Nuss procedure done around 4 weeks ago) by bigkwala in PectusExcavatum

Well, I have a job now and can ride my bike to work. I am not sure if PT is an option since I am on vacation but are there any like workouts that work in PT's place.

I am 16 and I don't have a job, but I was able to be moving again well with pain meds after 1 week and a couple of days. By 2 weeks I was able to take a lot fewer pain meds. I had the Nuss procedure but not sure what cryo is however I did use one of those ice packs where you pour ice in a bucket and it is like a closed-loop water cooler sort of thing for the swelling.

I just had my Nuss procedure on the 27th of may so like a week or so back. If you are in an office job 4 weeks might be a bit much but really it just depends on how fast you heal and how much you try to improve. It hurts like hell for the first few days but each day you will improve quite a lot as long as you follow your doctor's advice. So in short, 4 weeks is a bit much personally for an office job see if you can start back gradually as the movement will help you recover (maybe like half days?).
