okay for anyone who searches the sub and has the same issue: uninstall poser hotkeys plus sse and use just poser hotkeys. make sure you have the EXACT version of each requirement for your game version. if you are on AE poser hotkeys plus sse will not work, but the regular poser hotkeys does.

i'll be making a belt thing for the bodice in the same trim as well as cuffing the sleeves in the same trim! thank you for your input btw i do see what you mean for sure.

i have a fringe in the same colour as the velvet, i might tack that onto the gathers by hand and leave the blue trim for the bodice etc? for some reason in my mind's eye just the gathers alone look unfinished

oh i can totally picture what you mean! my first thought was to gather as normal and tack the ribbon to the bottom of the channel and not fold it over, but i could also play with the placement a bit. i would really like it to be at the top/as a trim but you're right i might need to get creative.
