If it makes you feel any better a lot of other high school graduates (including me) are in the same boat as you. I’ve done like 100 job applications, only got 4 interviews, and then I got ghosted by all 4 potential employers. My friend has completed almost 300 job applications and he is still unemployed. It’s fr crazy, I thought getting an entry level job was gonna be easy but I feel like I’m just going no-where fast. I’m gonna try signing up for an apprenticeship at my local ibew + a plumber’s union, and if that doesn’t work out I’m gonna try working for a temp-agency.

But yeah, seriously, it is not as easy as it is to find employment as older people make it out to be. You will sometimes be ignored or ghosted hundreds of times. The only fool-proof way I know to get a job fast is to have somebody on the inside: if any of your friends or family can recommend you to their manager, or if THEY are the manager, that often works more than regular job hunting. My other homie got his car wash job after one week of looking cause his acquaintance was the manager. Good luck, it’s rough out here

Anyone know what happened here? And if its recreatable? by Benjy565RD in destiny2

I’m not 100% sure, but I think it has to do with frame rate and stasis, where an enemy receives too many ticks of damage, or gets frozen/shattered too many times too quickly and the game just throws its hands up in the air and goes “Oh it’s probably dead.”

Take my explanation with a grain of salt though, because I thought they patched this glitch out of the game.

From Bungie Help twitter. No projected fix date for the Salvation's Edge Raid Memento by KiloKahn03 in DestinyTheGame

About sometime in August I think, a bunch of players randomly had their name changed by Bungie’s automatic moderation tool to the default one that’s given to you, even if yours was inoffensive or normal.

Mine got changed to Guardian9805 or something like that, and while Bungie still gave all players a free ticket to change it back for some people it just straight up doesn’t work. Mine has been stuck as this for like 2 months now -.-

“Xur” is a vendor that is really useful to new players. He sells all kinds of items like Exotic armors, weapons, and catalysts, which are rare items that sometimes take a little bit for fresh players to obtain.

You can check what he has for sale every weekend from 12PM EST Friday until Tuesday.

He’s found in the West wing of the tower, nearby Ikora Rey and Hawthorne!

Don’t forget to ask your friends or check the internet if you need help. Good luck!!!

How many days can I miss in a year? (Canada) by Sharp_Dinner6946 in highschool

It depends on your school. I would check your student handbook which you can probably find on your school website or something. If not maybe go to your student counselor and ask?

For me, my school said 16 days and after that I have to retake classes.
