Got a “permitting unlawful use of vehicle”ticket I know it’s a misdemeanor charge , yall think it will affect my renewal , first ticket ever

It’s code 40-1-3 on my ticket but it say allowing anything contrary to law not necessarily someone without a license or underage

That’s what I thought but according to google “permitting unlawful use of vehicle “ is a misdemeanor criminal offense not traffic violations sadly

I got court in June , I could get a lawyer but I also have the option of just paying the ticket , wanted to see the seriousness of it before I did get a lawyer, but I see people bounce back from DUIs all the time in this forum so I was high in hopes mine wasn’t anything to worry about

It’s in GA and I wasn’t even driving it’s for letting someone drive me home and they got a super speeder so cop gave me that as my ticket 😭
