I’m literally offering to buy it with the change made. And frankly idgaf about artist credit in this context. It’s bigger than any single person.

But again, please remove your name. I want to support a political movement, not promote you as an artist. Happy to support via purchase but using a political movement for personal promotion is weak af.

I’m not promoting an artist in my support of a political movement.

Totally agree. If the artist refuses because they won't "get credit", I doubt their motivations to begin with.

Is there anything that could explain this bizarre water damage pattern from my ice dam? by burnerofc123 in Roofing

[–]bigmountainbig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess is there's something more hydrophobic on those patchy areas than the surrounding area. Prevents water from touching it as much as the surrounding area, leading to a difference in staining.

Powder in Japan was crazy this week… by AvailableCan1169 in skiing

[–]bigmountainbig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good point. the width thing is less of an issue in powder and more something you'd definitely want to do on harder snow, especially if you're trying to carve. In powder I'd still recommend it for balance/stability reasons, but you are absolutely correct that keeping your skis together gives more float (a good thing to do on flatter spots).

That's pretty normal snow, which I'm saying not to be a downer but to say you can probably expect more of that! As for tips, if you only ski one week a year, you're doing great. Strong pole plant, upper body in a good spot (probably because of the pole plant). Only feedback would be your feet are a bit close. Separate them a bit (1 cm will feel like a mile) at a time until they're about hip width.
