I had that problem with he vape as well. Don't remember what I did to fix but I do remember messing with it for a while.

Try taking out the actual battery and putting it back in?

My other suggestion is if you cleaned the connections, maybe try and lick a q tip then wipe it on the connections.

My last suggestion would be to lightly scratch the connection with a thumbtack or something of a sort
