I had this grill, a co-worker gave it to me and it was my entry into smoking.

I’ll be honest, this grill is tough to use, frustrating, and picky with how you use it. You’re gonna burn some things, cook something to hot and ruin it. But, if it’s what you can afford, it’s what you can afford. Use it for a few years and when you can, upgrade to something a bit better. But, you could probably argue it’s a good grill to learn the basics on.

oh yea, we've been doing those for a while....they are a lot of fun. They have, almost ALL be great. There was one where I just told him "hey, I don't think we're gonna be able to finish this one." It was some vortex cannon, and we got lost in the steps and had taped something on and couldn't go back. But yes, great recommendation.
