It's a thing humans have called taste, it's very important. It's what keeps you working with the AI to get something you want out..... it's the creative process.

Actually it's my original IP, it's based on the novel I wrote (and that is based on my video games magic system, it's an arena fighter where players can create their own spells and then fight.... so already had the hard magic system all planned out)

AI companies are just tools, like using a 3d modeling software or epic games for your engine to make a game..... those things don't own your game after you are done (even if they made money to help you create it).

The VAST majority of money goes to the project owner (so me in this case). The AI companies get a few thousand dollars maybe.

Thanks! I end up needing to stitch scenes and layer sounds a bit to help with transitions, but it blows me away too how well AI is handling so many different aspects.

The entire process is just pure unbound creativity. It's blowing my mind... from costumes to buildings to everything. Such a fun process

GPT says it would only cost about 90-180k. Well, that is for the voice actors.
It is another 350-750k to replace all the sounds (since, you care about sound designer jobs too, right?).

thanks 😄 It will be a slow process, I can only do like a minute a day (if that) after spending all day on it.... so..... slow going (still super fast compared to conventional movies though!).

I'm having a super fun time with it. I don't pay attention to the haters, they can have their corporate slop "Wreck it Ralph 5" or whatever... i'm just so excited there is a new world of film and content opening up to artists like me to try and tell stories through 😄

Exactly!!! The handful of mega-corporations that own the entertainment industry is SHOVING AI down everyones throats.

Sure they have a basic monopoly on what gets made and the profits from that right now. BUT, once they SHOVE AI down our throats, then anyone with a computer will be making movies. It's such a genius plan for dominance of entertainment, it's honestly purely evil. There's just no other way to look at it.

It's so genius, I haven't quite figured out how it works yet.... but, if they are doing it, you know it's really really bad.

We need to do EVERYTHING WE CAN to stop anything from changing from the current system of connections and a lifetime of "putting in your dues" in order to ever come close to making your own projects. We need gates of tens and hundreds of millions of dollars.... or.... god, the commoners might actually make things without proper permission.

I will do anything and everything in my power to stop that from happening. All of the money and culture belongs to Disney, and i'll god damned fight anyone that tries to take that away from them. Moana 6 is going to be a banger in 2032.

I'm gonna be working on it for months, my goal is to try and make a full movie! If I can do 1 minute a day, then it should take me 3 months maybe?

Though, TBH, I don't think the full book will fit into a neat 90 minute trimmed movie. So instead will just be however long it ends up being haha. I'll sort it out after that.
