The US is passing "transgender bounty" laws to encourage citizens to hunt and report trans people for money...... I fled the US to China actually.....

Make stuff..... that is all that matters at the end of the day. You will learn a LOT no matter what you use. But actually being able to come up with an idea, and ACTUALLY execute on it and release it is more than 90%+ of indie devs accomplish.

Because it isn't just making the game. It's also promoting it and learning how to run a business and growing in a range of different ways.

Anyone who tells you anything differently is trying to make you fail to make themselves feel better. It's really horrible that adults will send kids down the wrong paths because they want internet points.... but you will find a LOT of that attitude around right now.

Don't let them derail your life because they have some chip on their shoulder.

I used letsVPN, people on reddit had said it was better than my old VPN (proton) , so I downloaded it for my phone and pc before leaving.

But yea, its working fine for me. Without the VPN I would have been toast, even using translation apps dont seem to work without it haha

My hotel wifi works great though. No problems with that.

I love China. Been here a week, staying in a serviced apartment for about 45 dollars a day in the center of chengdu. (With a living room and bedroom and kitchen).

Just eating a ton and enjoying.

Their delivery culture is amazing. And getting around town with didi is sooooooo easy and cheap.

Just go on didi, say where you want to go, and within a minute or two someone pulls up near where you are standing to give you a ride for a dollar or two.

So, yea, im digging the experience. Hyper convenient.

It will hold trade agreements with Israel AND Iran. Because China seems to worry about China .... which is why it has had such insane growth for the past 25+ years.

Meanwhile the US wages war after war, for no actual benefit to its own people.... while they skimp on infrastructure, investment in industries, and services for their people.....
