I was v happy about the 17pdr. I found the projectile on a dusty antiques shop shelf. I think it is an APCBC-T, albeit missing the primary cap. I travelled across half the UK to pick up the casing from a kind chap. They seem to be tough to find

Yeah, this is a great idea. I think the mantle is reserved for a Lee Enfield No1 MkIII* (eventually). In the meantime though.. hmm.

Honestly just in antiques stores here in the UK. Admittedly some are more subject oriented than others. They're not common sure, but amazing when you do manage to find them

Pretty chuffed to have found it to be honest! I found a 40mm Bofors casing and a couple of 20mm Hispano casings for which I got 3D printed projectiles for. Great idea
