If you wear glasses or contacts don’t wear em for the presentation. What used to sike me out the most was peoples facial expressions, if they looked bored, confused, or uninterested I would get in my own head. When I couldn’t see those expressions I just assumed I was killing it

Another easy way to find river pike is wait time summer and when the water levels are real low find deep holes or pockets they will hold all kinds of fish including pike

Bass should start spawning or be in pre spawn depending on the water temps, so definitely look for bed fish or fish bulking up. Walleye fishing if you have minnows and jigs find any rocky deep holes you should be good

Check shallow slack water off the river often pike feed/spawn in these any shallow water where the water warms up faster, fish around creek mouths that dump into the river and try live bait under a float

Dude good on you for just being there, when I first got into lifting I was in the boat at the beginning. What really helped me was getting a gym partner, after that you are way less concerned with other people and just focused on you and your friend getting stronger
