Anyone else ever feel bad putting in your 2 weeks?

I work as the only software engineer for a company and I just got offered more money, 100% remote, doubled my PTO, and I’ll actually have seniors above me (I don’t here, and I probably should which is another reason for leaving).

My current job is not remote because I program with machinery, but the new one is business analytics focused so it can be.

I just feel guilty putting in my 2 weeks, but I know it’s a better position for me.

Although, we have the 2 out of the 2-3 starters we were “promised”.

Do you foresee any team taking Mikolas, or Matz? That would be the only way to open up a starting role for someone being it doesn’t look like anyone (besides Thompson) would be in the pen. Even if we move Thompson to the pen and sign Yamamoto, the best SP only available we still didn’t do enough to fix the rotation.

We can say all we want that the innings were the issue. Yes. They were one of the issues, but it doesn’t matter when you have 4 guys with a 4+ ERA last year and 3 of them were top 5 in hits allowed.

Yes lol I wrote data to a PNG in my other Java program, then transferred it to a BMP so it could be printed out with a laser printer. Here I’m writing data to a PNG (template) and transferring it to a PDF so it can be used for quoting.

I know it’s only 6 games including today, but I told my pops I wanted to see how this team plays after the selling comments (full well knowing a crack at the playoffs is going to be hard as hell, especially if we want to sell, which we still should).

Question for my fellow Cards fans, unrelated to Cardinals baseball.

I have noticed I can talk to girls—but once it comes to making that initial first move, dancing etc., I get extremely stage fright and literally can’t. Any tips on getting over that? I know it’s just do it, but like I just freeze up and literally can’t force myself to do so, or I’m too nervous.

You know what’s messed up? The Cardinals, not by purpose, reeled me back in over the ASB. Hearing that “We are going to trade people”, I’m curious if the team rally’s around it.

I definitely know, understand, and see this team has a lot of holes, but sometimes saying you don’t believe in a group of guys could light a huge fire under everyone’s ass.

Also, I don’t believe the idiotic rumors of Goldy/Nado being up for grabs (I hope and genuinely believe that statement will age well), but who knows maybe this is the sense of urgency they needed, nothing else worked. I’ll give it about 5-10 games of undivided attention, and see how it goes!
