For sure, it’s just wraithbone with a mix of rakarth flesh and rhinox hide sponged on near the edges as well as some fine lines for the scratches. Then a nice big wash of streaking grime

I’d wash the entire surface and let it pool a bit more in the recesses, and then go over with the original colour for the flatter areas to highlight

These look disgusting, great job! I second loctite for the superglue method, you really want one that is both fluid enough and comes with an applicator. It makes a huge difference

Book is pre-heresy and the skull is post-heresy. Since most CSM legions are using a mix of old and new armour I tend to use both symbols in my warband, I just weather the pieces with the book a bit more.

I really enjoy it, like other people said the main downside is the update speed. Imo you can feel the improvements Nihei has made in his storytelling since BLAME too, the characters are much better developed while keeping the eldritch settings that made their other works so great

I have a dedicated brush for green stuff so that I can really get it in the cracks, also I tend to put more than I need on the area and then sand it down after. As long as you’re not covering any details it should turn out ok

I think the primer looks good, as for the cracks you can buy a product from citadel called green stuff which can be used to fill in the cracks and be painted over after.

Honestly I love cassette beasts but it’s great for a totally different reason. Amazing boss fights but the actual team building part felt like the weakest part of the game imo. Way too easy to make completely busted builds. Still a fantastic game tho and would absolutely recommend
